Toots and the Maytals - Funky Kingston (1973)

Funky Kingston is a 1973 album by Toots and the Maytals, a Jamaican reggae band. It is their first album produced by Chris Blackwell

The better known US version is a compilation of the original "Funky Kingston" and the Maytals second album, "In The Dark". It is notable for the Maytals biggest hit, "Pressure Drop", as well as unlikely cover songs, such as a reggae version of John Denver's "Take Me Home, Country Roads", which replaces West Virginia with West Jamaica.
